1.這句話句型結構不完整

(1) 沒有主詞

(2) 如果只是討論是否要加V-ing

可以只寫next to him for a candy. <next to him 是後位修飾,形容女學生

or being next to him for a candy <分詞形容詞,形容女學生是在隔壁

兩句話都是可以的

如果想強調就在隔壁,用後者比較好
